Frank Blodgett family lived in the home from 1907. He was the Great Grandson of Caleb Blodgett one of the areas first white settlers in the 1830's & founder of Beloit and the University. Frank continued to run the Blodgett Milling Company located on the Rock River which helped supply the early pioneers heading west and later The World War I soldiers with Rye and Wheat flour.

Innkeeper Michelle Scarlette purchased the home in December 96 and has Lovingly restored the home to her former gradeur. Opened as a Bed & Breakfast in August of 1999 hundreds of satisfied guests have let us exceed their expectations. Let us exceed yours!
